Wildlife
Management Internships are
available offering experiences in all aspects of the Facility's
environmental management programs. Project includes work with fisheries,
vegetation, endangered species, wildlife censuses, trail maintenance,
environmental education and exhibit preparation.
College students,
currently enrolled in a natural science degree, are eligible to
apply for the internship.
In addition,
Interns are required to develop and complete an individual project
while at Merrill Creek, as well as assist the Naturalist with all
aspects of the daily operations of the Visitors Center and Environmental
Preserve.
Hours and schedules
are flexible to meet the needs of the individual and the Facility.
