Merrill Creek Reservoir
offers a wide variety of environmental education opportunities for all age
groups ranging from Pre-K through adults. The programs described on this page
are hands-on, interdisciplinary activites intended to provide educators with
basic information to assist them in creating a productive, educational field
trip. Groups are not limited to the
programs
that are outlined on this page, but are encouraged to integrate the correlation
between classroom learning and outdoor experiences in all aspects of their
curriculum.
In keeping with the Merrill
Creek Reservoir educational philosophy, all educators are strongly encouraged
to take an active role in preparing, conducting, and following-up of all
activities. A Naturalist will be available to assist in all aspects of the
program.
All
organized, non-profit groups are welcome, and programs can be
arranged by contacting the Naturalists at the Merrill Creek Visitors Center.
